I spent most of yesterday in bed. M is dragging me out to get something to eat this morning. I'm still coughing, stuffy, and feverish, but I need to get dog food and some stuff at the drug store, so I guess going out is necessary.

ugh.

not going out. too sick. can't fathom the idea of driving. PLus, the sunlight hurts my eyes.

ok. I am going to venture out for a bit. I'm going to walgreens. going out with a fever, albeit a slight one, thanks to the magic of ibuprofin, is always interesting. the edges of things are softer, the world just a bit fuzzy and strange. This is the time to go, though -- I've eaten, I slept for a while, and I haven't coughed much in the last hour (thank god for cough syrup!).

you really wanted to know all this, didn't you? Also, it's sunny and 7ºF here. The sun is strong enough to melt the snow on the picnic table on the deck, but not strong enough to make it warm. I will have to bundle up.
